To own a static holiday caravan you will investing between £5000.00 and £50,000.00, possibly more dependent on your chosen caravans specification, do you really want to find your caravan (or chalet) badly damaged and then not receive any help and in truth a total disinterest from both the site staff and Park Holidays UK head office?

Still cannot get a reply from Ian Smith the operations manager at Park Holidays UK head office or the holiday park, now having to go to court to get the deposits back for the gate keys, gas bottles and the unused part of the years site fees paid.

Before committing yourself to the purchase of a holiday home at Harts Holiday Park and possibly at other sites owned by Park Holidays UK, it may be beneficial to read of our own experience.

Having owned both a chalet and caravan on Harts Holiday Park. 		   
Have a read through you never know it may save you not only money but the bitter disappointment of finding your holiday caravan (or chalet) badly damaged, with no assistance and total disinterest from both the site management and head office.

Then the logic of the mad house, our caravan effectively ruined and being told we should move pitches at a cost of around a £1,000.00 and not the caravan owner who created the damage.

Although this is about Harts Holiday Park at Leysdown on Sea on the Isle of Sheppey, Park Holidays UK do of course own many Caravan holiday parks for used, pre-owned and new static caravans including Atlas, ABI, BK, Carnaby, Delta and Willerby.

Our own problems with the damage to our caravan and neither the site manager or the operations manager at head office could be bothered to view the damage or even contact us, leads me to believe the problems we encountered could possibly be Park Holidays UK company policy of ignoring complaints and may well apply across all these holiday parks owned by Park Holidays UK.
