To own a static holiday caravan you will investing between £5000.00 and £50,000.00, possibly more dependent on your
chosen caravans specification, do you really want to find your caravan badly damaged and then not receive any help
and in truth a total disinterest from both the site staff and Park Holidays UK head office?
Still cannot get a reply from Ian Smith the operations manager at
head office or the holiday park, left with no choice but to go to court to get the deposits
back for the gate keys, gas bottles and the unused part of the years site fees paid at Harts
Holiday Park.

Harts Holiday Park :
If you are thinking about buying a holiday chalet at Harts, do think very carefully as the
owners Park Holidays UK tried to build on a fair amount of the park which at the present
time has chalets on.
If this application had not been refused by the planners every one of the chalet owners
in this area would have lost there chalets, without any form of compensation.
Don't take this refusal by the planners as the end of the matter this decision can always be
appealed against.
Even if this appeal is turned down, Park Holidays UK can always appeal to the Secretary of State.
This is most likely when house sales start to increase again, at the present time due
to lack of mortgages most house building projects are on hold.

Lets recap:
No phone number for head office on the companies web site.
Customer Care email address does not work.
Email Ian Smith, operations manager, no reply.
Email Harts site manager, no reply.
Harts aware of damage to our caravan before us, no action taken and why were we
not informed.
Reported damage to our caravan, not even inspected (in the day and a half we was on
site after reporting this).
Told we could always move pitches, why should we move when it was our caravan
that was damaged.
Why should we have to pay to move pitches when we are the injured parted, surely the
policy of a mad house.
Handed the electronic keys back in for the gate, still waiting for the £25.00 deposit.
Told we would receive a refund for the rest of the seasons fees already paid, still waiting.
Still waiting for the refund for the deposit on the gas bottles.
Even though everything canceled in writing in the sales office prior to date of direct debit
for site fees, still tried to draw another months site fees and because they could not,
now trying to charge us £30.00.
This one is not a surprise as admin is a complete shambles been trying for over 4 years
to get the mail addressed to my wife as MRS and not MISS (been married 18 years so not even
a change).
